In those cases, illness will still happen, but about 40 to 50 percent less often.

Emotional imbalance has also been softened. Previously, seeing a death or experiencing extreme moods like mortified or hysterical would instantly destroy your Sim’s wellness and make them sick on the spot. Now, there’s a small buffer so your Sim has time to take action before it all goes downhill.

Fairy wings mystery solved and console fix revealed

If you’ve noticed your fairy Sims losing their wings mid-animation, you’re not alone. It’s not a bug, at least not always. The wings are designed to disappear during certain interactions like lying down or sitting to avoid clipping issues. There are over 360 custom animations where the wings are meant to function properly.

However, if they don’t reappear when they should, that’s when it becomes a problem. The Sims team encourages players to report those situations to the EA forums so they can investigate. Wings should come back automatically after the activity ends.

Console players also got a helpful workaround for a common gallery access issue. If you’ve been getting the “online connection required” message on Xbox or PlayStation, it’s likely because a user agreement isn’t popping up like it’s supposed to. To fix this, go to Game Options > Other > Link EA Account. This should force the agreement to appear. Accept, restart the game, and boom, your gallery should be back. Just don’t forget to save before you reboot.
