Sims4Life is an independent help site for The Sims 4 players on PC and Mac. We answer the questions players actually search for: which mod does what, does it still work after the latest patch, which cheat do I type, and how do I fix my game when something breaks.

How we check mods
Every mod page shows a status for the current game version. A mod is only marked Works when its creator, or the community lists that track mods after each patch, confirm it works, or when the creator has updated it after the patch. When a patch breaks a mod and the creator is working on a fix, we mark it Waiting for creator. When it is broken with no fix in sight, or the creator has stopped supporting it, we say so. When we have no clear answer yet, the page says Not checked instead of guessing.
When EA releases a new patch, every status goes back to Not checked until the mod has been checked again. You can see all mods and their status on our Sims 4 mod status page.
Safe downloads
We never host mod files. Every download link goes to the creator’s own page, such as their website, Patreon, CurseForge, Mod The Sims, Nexus Mods or itch.io. Reuploads of mods are a common source of malware, so we do not link to them.

Sims4Life is not affiliated with EA or Maxis. The Sims is a trademark of Electronic Arts. The site is free to read and is funded by advertising. Articles in our Other section are partner content and are kept apart from our guides.
