One last surprise: EA recently sent out a player survey asking why some fans have stopped playing The Sims 4. Unlike previous surveys, this one only had two questions, but they were big ones.

The first asked why you may have taken a break from the game, listing everything from bugs and burnout to lack of diversity and repetitive gameplay.
The second asked for demographic details like race, gender, and sexual orientation.

What raised eyebrows is that the survey was invite-only. If you didn’t receive it via email, you couldn’t participate. That left many players confused about why they weren’t included, especially creators like Superior Simmer, who’s been very vocal about feedback.

Still, it’s a promising sign that EA is listening. Hopefully, this survey leads to more inclusive, varied content in the future and maybe even more gameplay depth in kits.
