Tackling fables and riddles with fairy magic

While the gardening gameplay is rewarding, the new Enchanted by Nature fable quest system has mixed results. Chenise took on quests from Spruce Almighty that required solving mushroom riddles.

Some riddles were clever, but others felt repetitive or forced you into specific moods like “inspired.” To solve one, Chenise even built a shower in the woods to force the moodlet she needed.

Another riddle required lightning root leaves, a fetch quest she trivialized with her duplicated seeds. The system sometimes failed to register completed quests, forcing frustrating repetition.

Players will recognize this classic Sims 4 problem: loading too many packs can lead to instability and crashes. After a major crash wiped progress, Chenise had to cheat skills and quest stages back to where they were.

Still, being an evil fairy is a blast. Players can sabotage others, break or fix objects instantly, and bottle emotions to keep their own needs filled.

Using kids to boost potion crafting
