There’s also a look at new house blueprints and the introduction of the Functional Nature Press. This new object lets Sims craft decorative pieces using natural resources. This character appears in various themed forms throughout the teaser, adding even more magic to the build items.

Fairy homes and pricing concerns

While the creative items are gaining praise, some fans are disappointed that the expansion pack includes only one fairy-themed home in the base content. A second fairy home is locked behind a preorder bonus that requires players to buy the pack before the official release. Many feel this approach is limiting and creates a “paywall” situation that doesn’t sit well with long-time players.

The expansion pack is priced at $40, which has sparked discussion among players. Some believe the pack leans more toward a game pack level of content and question whether the pricing is justified.
